Hi.

Combining any drug that inhibits the reuptake of serotonin (5-HT) with Nardil is a big no-no. Serotonin syndrome. I was advised by one doctor not to mix Remeron with Nardil. I think he was worried about the NE alpha-2 receptor blockade releasing excess norepinephrine and raising blood pressure. I could not tolerate imipramine (Tofranil) added to Nardil. Clomipramine (Anafrinil) is much more potent than imipramine with regard to 5-HT reuptake inhibition.

I have no suggestions, sorry. I think Zyprexa is a good idea.
