As long as it's not an extended or sustained release (I don't think Zoloft has one of those - not sure). I have heard recommendations that if you do cut your pills, don't cut all of them at once. Just cut one, and take half that day and the other half the next day. If there's any uneveness in the way the medication is distributed throughout the pill, this is supposed to help keep your dosage steady. If you get a pill cutter (just a couple bucks) from the store, it's really pretty easy, not a big chore. I hope that made some kind of sense!
