But it seems I am having the same reaction, that is the effect seems to be wearing off after a few weeks. Or it could be that I am just getting used to feeling this way as opposed to the dramatic difference at first. My psychdoc says 300-400 mg is used for ADD and depression so I can go up if I need to. I have been hoping that I have found the one drug that can help with the SSRI apathy since it seems I have to take the SSRI, sigh.

> Donna, when you say that it is "wearing off", do you mean you are getting tired again? I am a little confused by your post since you said maybe you are just getting used to it now. Possibly only the Antidepressant effect is wearing off but you are not returning to your fatigued state? Please let me know.
>Sorry to be confusing. I am usually a tad confused so I am not suprised that I am confusing..
What I am trying to convey is the initial contrast was astounding, I felt so much more energized and interested in life again. Now I still feel that way, what I think has happened is that the 'speediness" is gone and instead I feel what I imagine normal must be. I have enthusiasm and hope, something I haven't had in quite awhile. I don't think that it is depression causing the apathy, I think it is the SSRI.
I am feeling the best I have in a long time. I even dare to dream that I can stop the SSRI and do well on just the buspar and provigil. Hate to get my hopes up again. No, I hate to have my hope dashed again!
I don't think that sounds too much less confusing. Let me know if I need to try again.Donna
