I guess it really depends on the severity of your symptoms- you have a pretty heavy diagnosis, but there are people with DID who actually function pretty well. Personally, I probably am more on the DD-NOS side of things, I've been going to therapy off and on for 3 years and basically spend my time on coping skills to stay grounded. Try to find (if you don't already have) a therapist who specializes in DDs, and work on trying to function in the here and now. You may want to post on Psychological Babble, there are several of us battling the same problems. take care-judy
