I can tell you that there are differences between the two MAOIs...Parnate is more stimulating, and does not effect GABA levels.
MAOIs in general have anti-OCD properties, but I believe, for most people, the greatest relief from OCD, is gained through the SSRI class of antidepressants.
TCA's don't seem to do well
Since I don't know your history of medications, I can only offer some advice... I would suggest a higher dose of a SSRI (based on clinical studies) BEFORE moving on to the MAOIs. Be sure you have a great psychiatrist, who is willing to work WITH you, and who you feel comfortable talking to.
