BillL, thanks for the words of encouragement. I agree with you about beating depression is worth putting up with a few side effects. I'm glad to know that you also experienced the daytime sleepiness with Prozac. I was beginning to think it was just me, since my doctors kept stressing that Prozac is very activating. Since this is only week number 3, I'm believing that soon this drowsiness will subside. I still have not experienced that clarity of mind and happy feeling that you have, but I'm sure that is coming soon. Thanks again!
God Bless
Edgefield

> Celexa is a great drug. I was on it for a couple of years before switching to Lexapro. I gradually moved up to 60 mg of Celexa with excellent results. I am now on 20 mg of Lexapro and doing great. I feel a bit sharper mentally on Lex than I did on Celexa. Also, the sexual side effects are a bit less for me on Lexapro. Both drugs have been really great for both my anxiety and depression.

My advice to you is to stay with Prozac. Everyone is different when it comes to side effects. If you do encounter bad side effects in the future, then you might consider switching. But as far as I'm concerned, beating depression is worth having the side effects.
