Insomnia, sexual assault, seroquel

Posted by sugarbush_inthenorth on March 26, 2003, at 9:19:02

I sustained a head injury, the effects vary. One of the most serious concerns is the inability to fall asleep.

Last year, after an assault, my previous meds became inaffective and I could not fall asleep and after five days I lost my mind. I became delusional, confused and fearful. I got worse and finally, I accused my husband of assault.

Seroquel is working well and the above symtoms have been arrested. Now,I'm wondering about the long term use of Seroquel to be used to sedate me. Is there anyone out there that has been on low dose of Seroquel for a long period of time? Do the sedating effects continue?
