I think it takes around 1 to 2 weeks. I have heard of wonderful responses within 48 hours.
The longer you use it the better it works and, strangly, the longer the half-life becomes.
It has no withdrawal syndrome AT ALL. It is safe if monitored well. I have seen some very good responses to it as an adjunctive treatment.
It truly is a good drug.
