Hi there and welcome!
Yes you will love it here:-)
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh boy! can I relate to the fight sleep thing! My friends all tell me I fight it-I have a "busy" personality. I have taken Restoril many times when in the hospital. Oh geez, I did the "cocktail" thing, of Vicodin, Ambien, and Ativan-I DO NOT suggest that. I hear you and how you feel and I am sorry-not that it does much good for you. However, you may just be one of those people who walk in their sleep? Talk? etc. from what it sounds like.
I also take Seroquel as sleep has always been a problem for me. Please, if you want any more help, let me know k?
All the best!
Kristen:-)
==================================================================================================> I am new here so I hope I don't mess up. I tried to post earlier but it didn't work. First of all it's nice to be here I hope I can help you out some day. Now to my problem...No sleep!! I try, I do, but I fight it. I take 20mg Lexapro, 10mg Ambien, 100mg Topamax, 50 Vistaril, 150mg Seroquel and optional Ativan. I recently came off Restoril because my doc didn't know I was on it. What time I think I am asleep my husband says I'm fighting and trying to "kill" people. Talking and yelling. And every morning he goes in the kitchen and I have emptied out the cabinets or cooked. I don't remember any of this, he's afraid I'm gonna burn down the house! I'm usually in bed only 4 hours because I HATE to go to bed because I know I will not sleep. I am past the positive thinking thing. The other night I played pharmacy and made myself a cocktail of Ativan,Vicodan and Restoril just to get to sleep. About 3 pills of each. Surprised I woke up! Do you have any suggestions I can make to my doctor. I see a therapist at his office every week; have for over a year. BTW...I have read many of the post and I think I'm gonna love this place.
