syringachalet- I agree when you say,"at least this person acknowledges that he/she has a problem and is doing something ACTIVE about it".
I think a lot of pharmacists DO see that-but like you said-they fill prescriptions and I don't think they care too much or label a person-they're way too busy to do so.
A LOT of people are out there are suffering and not getting the treatment they need, for one reason or another. I thought your comment was funny-and I understood it quite well:-)

-------------------------------------------------As a healthcare professional myself, I doubt that if he gave it a second thought. I used to work with a pharmacist and his approach was...at least this person acknowledges that he/she has a problem and is doing something ACTIVE about it. How many others out there are suffering and not getting the treatment they need.....
My consensus was if any professinal pharamist had an issue with someone taking an positive active role in their own health care, he should remember that if it was for all those people who come into his business establishment and buy those meds, they would be out of a job...hence sitting on the corner selling thermometers...
I am sorry if you were bothered by a slight punk from one profession to another....
