I've been on effexor for 3 months (worked up to 225 mg) and I've decided to go off because right away I had really bad constipation and I've had it everyday for 3 months now. I also had heart palpitations and an irregular heartbeat. So I'm going to go back on Prozac, which worked amazingly for my anxiety. It was the best I'd ever felt. I felt pretty good on paxil too, but it also gave me constipation and it wasn't as effective as prozac for me.
