I realise you're kidding about them dressed in red riding horses all day - but the last time I actually saw a "Mountie" riding a horse was in Vancouver's huge Stanley Park & that was back in 1969! We're more likely to see police on biccycles for the ease they can manoveur in city streets. I think the RCMP may have red coats still but strictly for holiday functions. I can't reacll anyone calling them Mounties either - probably a long ago push to drop the association with horses only.

Bluedog, why not post your question of med interaction in a new thread to catch posters attention? I'm sure it's lost here & I can't answer it - sorry.
