Larry Hoover - more questions about tumeric...

Posted by IsoM on December 19, 2002, at 5:11:27

Larry, NSAIDs are notorious for causing tinnitus. I have never checked into why or how NSAIDs do it. I'm curious if you know whether it's possible that curcumin may also have that effect. Because there are so many possible causes of tinnitus, one isn't always able to track down the reasons for having it. I've had it for many years, sometimes intermittant, sometimes constant, & varying in tone & loudness, but I've noticed it's louder now & constant again. Do you know of any possible relationship with curcumin? I actually don't think it's due to turmeric but I haven't changed anything else or been taking any NSAIDs.
