General info

I find this site to be facinating, albeit a bit confusing trying to "jump into" threads that are quite old...

So for all you experienced people... what can/should I expect? I was suicidal, but meds seem to help. The problem seems to be finding me a med I can tolerate... and no one knows at this point if I'll be on meds for life or a "short" time... If meds make you feel better... i.e. the negative and most importantly, the suicidal thoughts go away, how do you know when you're "better"? And it seems to me that the SSRIs must make me "high" because I start feeling better WAY before they're supposed to be in my system... And has anyone been "level" for a great length of time? I think when I was on Wellbutrin (2-1/2 weeks) I might have been "level" but it almost seemed down from the high I felt on Effexor and Paxil... See why I'm confused? Anyone care to give me a short-course on what I should expect?
