Lex/Dex/Desipramine to Lex/Dex/Rebox - advice?

Posted by rytoor on December 10, 2002, at 19:26:11

Should one wait any length of time between the LAST day of Desipramine and the FIRST day of Reboxetine?

My current cocktail is so-so (20 mg Lexapro, 40 mg of Dexedrine, and 100 mg of Desipramine) except for some frightening Desipramine side effects. Since starting it, and up through Day 26 (today) I've had trouble BREATHING on the Desipramine! Rapid heart beat too. Never had this happen, and it's not because of other meds (so I'm told).

So, I'm switching to Rebox, in hopes that it will have fewer cardio / respiratory side effects.

Advice on whether to leave time between the Desipramine and Rebox? thx

R
