Question About Birth Control Pills and ADD/ADHD

I am considering discontinuing my birth control pills because my blood pressure has increased quite a bit since I started taking them. However, I'm somewhat reluctant to do so because I think I read somewhere that birth control pills help alleviate ADD/ADHD symptoms in women. Has anyone else read this or have any experience with the pill and improvement/worsening of ADD?
