CRH antagonists for atypical depression too?

Posted by hok on November 25, 2002, at 1:05:43

Perhaps they will find that CRH ANTAGONISTS will be beneficial for atypical as well as melancholic types. I was reading somewhere that the CRH anatagonists being researched only affects the CRH-1 receptor and still allow for normal and healthy stress reactions to occur. Hopefully, these drugs will alleviate the stress occuring in atypical depressives without worsening the atypical symptoms as much.
