Yes, they both caused quite a bite of sleep disturbance. However, those two also have the longest half-lives of the SSRI's as well. I am on just a tiny dose of Effexor (12.5mg/day), along with other meds for bipolar. It seems the shorter half-life of Effexor works ok, because I can sleep better.
