I can't offer much specific advice except to try provigil/modafinal for your ADD. There's no way to know if it will work for you, but provigil works in a completely different way from ritalin or amphetamines.

Are you seeing a good psychiatrist, one with real expertise in Psychopharmacology? It makes a big difference.
