Hi Krysti, I have found that SSRI's have this very *narrow* window that I can tolerate. Anything approaching a standard dose (of any of them), makes me more agitated and anxious. However, if I drop the dose down gradually, I eventually find a *spot* that doesn't make me agitated and actually reduces anxiety. It is tough to do when meds come in such walloping doses for folks with bipolar who need help with anxiety and mild depressive swings.
