Hi Babs -

Some info shows "low dose" not necessarily safer than "high dose" in inducing abnormal movements.

If issue never addressed, my opinion is that any Dr. not giving informed consent needs to address issue immediately. ie; Asking such a Dr. "What is risk of tardive movement?" - and if says "none" having him sign to that - (or to whatever he says) - is totally appropriate IMO - the law is they cannot prescribe antipsychotic without consent. Additionally, the addition of a dopamine agonist to a dopamine blocker - there is some research to indicate this combo may further increase risk of tardive movements (in fact most polypharmacy tends to increase risk)...

> My doctor just added adderall. I am currently on 40 mg of celexa and will probably go up to 60 mg next week. I am also on 1 mg of risperdal. I took Wellbutrin before for the ADD (I have depression, anxiety and obsessive thoughts) and it worked OK but not great. I REALLY need something to help me concentrate but I'm afarid Adderall will make me amped or make the obsessions worse. They are pretty much under control with the risperdal and I'd hate to mess with that. Anyone? Oh- won't go on adderall until I adjust my dosage of celexa and adjust to it.
