Hi, Ed. I tried to take Omega 3 capsules, but they made me terribly sick. (I don't have the brand, dose and other info with me now- will post that later- but it contained both EHA & DHA, in the form of fish oil concentrate.) I took 2 capsules with breakfast (this was the US rec. daily allowance) and felt bloated, sweaty and ill about 30 minutes afterward. I tried only taking 1 capsule with breakfast, but that also made me sick.
I have tried flax seed oil capsules, and I don't think it had the same sickening effect. Has anyone here read or heard of flax seed oil affecting reproductive health? The reason I ask is because my OBGYN is the Dr. who recommended fish oil specifically for depression. She said that she uses flax seed oil herself, but she suggested fish oil for me (I have forgotten the reason).
Thanks in advance for info/advice on how to get the medicine to go down. I don't think a spoon full of sugar will help with this one...
