That's ok. about the diagnosis. I am on disability so i have to have one. Although, Im not really the Dx that they originally put on the paperwork.
Seroquel is supposed to be weight neutral, at least that is what my doc said. But with the Depakote I did still gain a little weight, but NOTHING like the zyprexa made me gain. In fact, I think it was all water weight because I lost it (20 pounds) in 12 days on a desert retreat. Nothing like 105 degrees in the shade to pull weight off of you.
Anyway, good luck with the Seroquel.

> I was on Depakote too at one time..I sooo hope I don't gain weight! I just lost 75 lbs..I have gained back 15 and I'm trying to get that back off.
> Here is my diagnosis, of what I understand it: Agoraphobic w/panic, some kind of depression that I don't remember the term used (I should pay attention more), I have psychotic episodes I think is what he said. I'm sorry I was diagnosed in 1996 and I have never really asked what my formal diagnosis was since then. I just told my pdoc, I'm broke and he needs to fix me..(sorry bad humor!) its been a long couple days. I hope you have good luck on the Geodon, it worked wonderful for me, it just didn't like me!
