Hi Emme,
Long time no talk! Are you still on the Lamictal? Well, I found this message in the archives, and wanted to know how you managed to take 5 mg. of the Geodon -- my pdoc said the smallest dosage it comes in is 20 mg. Did you pour it out and drink it as a liquid? Or are there smaller dosages that my doc doesn't know about?I am taking 40 mg. right now, and having a hard time with side effects. Surprisingly, I did pretty well on the 20 mg, when I am usually so med sensitive. But this 40 mg is getting increasingly harder to tolerate. Extreme sedation PLUS agitation. No fun.
Hope you are doing well. Thanks in adavance for your response. I'm sorry I have been out of touch -- I was actually going without meds for several months and made a move out of state, so no time for Psycho Babble.
Thanks again, cindy

> Yes, yes, yes. I tried a small dose of Geodon (5 mg)for 5 days and had to stop it. I have seen the other posts saying the nervousness wears off, but I felt so physically sick on it, and am in a crunch work-wise, that I just couldn't afford the lost time spent feeling awful on it. My emotions were really intense and I would come home every night and just sob from nevous pent-up emotions. Physically I felt too revved up and was getting electric head-zaps. My doctor recommended cutting the dose down lower. I called her and left a message that I was stopping it till we could talk about it more. Strangely, I could see how this drug could really help me if I were really slowed down with depression. But I think combining it with the Lamictal isn't going to work for me. But I see that lots of other people really like it.
