Hi Dinah--

As a fellow migraine sufferer, I thought you might be interested in a little open-label pilot study I ran across which suggests that coenzyme Q10 may be helpful in reducing the frequency of migraine attacks.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=PubMed&list_uids=11972582&dopt=Abstract

What I found interesting is that *no* side effects were reported. Coenzyme Q10 occurs naturally in the body, is not likely to interfere with other meds, and is available OTC at nutrition centers and at some pharmacies. I'm planning to try it when I have time to pick some up; I'll let you know my results if you wish.

It's good to see you back posting!---medlib
