LAmictal and dysthymia/unipolar

Hello out there,
Are there any Dysthimics or Unipolar people who have had success with Lamictal. I've done a search on this drug and from the threads I've seen the most common responders are bipolars. I don't want to give another 6 weeks of my life to trying an ineffective drug so was wondering if it was worth it.
