IMO, if you don't respond to either the SSRIs or reboxetine, wellbutrin probably won't do much for you.I would try a totally different line of antidepressants, maybe some stuff like remeron, nefazadone, and trazadone. What kind of side effects (sedation, insomnia, sexual stuff, weight gain/loss) can you stand/not stand?

Actually, my depression responded pretty well with the prozac, it was just the weight gain, no libido and extreme lethargy that I couldn't take. My doc added wellbutrin to counteract the prozac effects and it seemed like when we combined the two that instead of getting better, the symptoms got worse. I also started having additional symptoms that were a little scary like muscle pain and joint pain that felt like arthritis. My pdoc then had me drop the prozac and go with wellbutrin alone. We then added the dexedrine later because of the ADD and continued fatigue and lethargy, even on the wellbutrin. I've been trying to do some research on my own, and it just seems to me that this kind of depression I have, which makes just getting out of bed in the morning an olympic feat, appears to respond better to the norepinephrine-type meds than the serotonin selective type. I'm interested to hear that you had good results with it. It sounds like you no longer take it. Did you switch or are you no longer on ADs?
