Tried several ADs and combos:
Trimipramine 100 mg/d (to much sedation and weight gain so I gradually reduced it to zero), addition of Citalopram up to 40 mg/d, addition of Venlafaxine up to 150 mg/d, Citalopram alone up to 80 mg/d, addition of Reboxetine (urinary probs lead to discontinuation), addition of Mirtazapine (knocked me out so I stopped quickly), addition of Flupentixol 1.5 mg/d (spaced out feeling lead to discontinuation) addition of Olanzapine (to much dizziness lead to discontinuation), augmentation with Lithium (tried two diff. lithium salts and both made me awful nauseous) replacement of Citalopram (gradually) with Zoloft (stopped after 4 weeks of nausea), replacment with Paroxetine 30 mg/d with good results concerning AD effect but developped bruxism, sexual disfuntion weight gain, permanent tiredness and last but not least elevation of liver enzymes (cause of the tiredness ?) so I had to come off it. Then Moclobemide up to 450 mg/d caused to much agitation so I reduced the dosage to 225 mg/d but I doesnt seem to help concerning mood. Addition of Amitryptiline (up to 25 mg/d) made me to tired......
What to do next ?
A second try with Paroxetine instead of the bad side effects and liver enzymes? A second try with Venlafaxine (swaeting weight gain headache on 150 mg/d but that was in combo withe Citalopram 20 mg/d) I am very sensitive to side effects esp. sedation and dry mouth.
TCAs are troublesome for me cause of heart function (had heart surgery).
