what kind of sexual side-effects did you experience? the same as with the ssri you tried or where they different from them (again, i hope my questions are not too unpleasant, but i would really like to get every informations about these things before i start rebox).
my problem with the ssri (paroxetin and sertralin) where lack of libido and (on better days) unability to reach orgasm (very annoying).
also-does anybody have an explanation why enhancing noradrenergic neurotransmission leads to unability to get an erection? is it because noradrenaline makes the penile vessels contract and so prevents the corpora cavernosa to fill properly?
also-what is the biological basis for the sexual side-effects of serotonin-enhancing antidepressants. i just read that this is because enhanced activity of a serotonergic projection from the midbrain-raphe cells to the spinal cord. but-does anybody know what then happens? i really would like to know whats going on in my body while taking these meds.
