Hi,

I have been on Depakote/Neurontin/Celexa AND Klonopin for a while (but all at very low doses). Yes, all of those will cause some levels of sedation. You need to list his dosages so we can have some better clues as to what to recommend. The Celexa is the most likely to cause insomnia, although it can make you tired during the day (primarily because it can hose up your sleep enough to not allow you to get fully rested). See if he can drop his Celexa dose and if that will allow him to get some sleep. If he sleeps better, but is still tired during the day consider lowering the Depakote/Neurontin dosage.

good luck,
Mitch
