i'd be curious to this answer as i take up to 80 mg/day of dexostrat. as indicated above, dexedrine only comes in 5 mg, so the dexostrat seems to make more sense and, in my unscientific experience, also seems to be most consistent (versus generics).
i drink coffee quite a bit and diet coke much, too. am i just releasing it all away in the urine that often accompanies (for me) caffeine beverages? i have been avoiding citrus fruits, though, more or less, for whatever heresay reason i've read once.
in addition, i take 75 mg effexor daily and find this low dose in combo with dex to be fairly effective, but not entirely consistent.
i may try replacing dex with adderall which seemed to have worked for me in the past but had also caused an unbearable amount of dry mouth (leading to gum issues).
my pdoc also says the spansules are a waste of money and offers up adderall as a better one to use. (he also gets wined and dined by the adderall people more than i really care to believe).
anybody doing small dose serotonin ssri (like effexor at low doses), stimulant and something else? wellbutrin? just curious.
p.s. i average about 70 mg/day now that i'm gettin' back into a routine with this stuff. the pdoc gives me some leeway with the higher prescription which is kind of nice. i seem, to feel better, though, later in the day. maybe it's the am effexor xr or maybe i just don't like my job.
[sheesh, it took me all these months to pass that test!]
