Is it reason enough to switch docs?Yeah the above would be a reason to switch...insensitivity to your individual needs. Also, youve probably already pissed off this Doctor by being "pushy" and its never good to have a Pdoc who finds you pushy or tries to tell them what to do.
If you can do it, family doctors are much easier to work with and I recommend people use their family doctor whenever they can. Ive had four psychiatrists and still havent found one I actually like. If I had to do things all over again, I would have used my family doctor for meds and never have gone to a psychiatrist.
