No, of course it doesn't work like Ativan. They are entirely different meds. . Buspar is the only anti-anxiety drug I'm aware of that isn't a benzo, and docs like to feel better about anything that's "not addictive." No matter the effect on you.
Buspar often doesn't work on anxiety the same way, you cannot take it situationally, and altogether. . you need a different doctor or to get a firm grip on the one you have. I die without Ativan too. That's like of some small importance. Duh.
