Now .... for my greatest experiment .... my boldest endever .... the moment of truth .... can I, a mortal man, build a better *Nardil*. I have been scouring the web in my quest. I think dopamine is the key. Kreg Park, god bless his soul, has some great ideas on social phobia, anxiety and depression. Two ideas I sank my teeth into were:
(1) Nardil is better that imipramine in atypical depression. The difference between nardil and imipramine is nardil increases dopamine.
(2) Individuals with social phobia are more likely to get Parkinson disease ... again needs more dopamine.
So far, my experiments have lead me to zoloft, klonopin and neurontin. The missing link is dopamine! Finding a med to increasing dopamine is the difficulty. So I am considering stimulants (will it poop out?)
provigil (poop out II the sequel)
bromocriptine (ergot ... not to crazy about that)
amantadine (possibly)
mirapex (three times a day ... maybe)
selegine (I think will be the winner)I just want a normal life, that is all I ask. An average house, nice wife, 2.5 kids, barbeque on the weekends. And bring on the morgage, babysitters, working late to make ends meet and even divorce. Better to love(live) and loss than to never have loved at all. Now I simply am surviving .... dragging myself through life .... in the throws of depression.
