Hiiiiiiiiiiiiide hiiiiiiii blonde,

Trazodone can be combined with Effexor to produce sleep and it may be as effective as benzodiazepines, because tolerance does not develop to trazodone's sedative effect.

Also, Trazodone is a novel addition to Effexor because: Effexor's serotonin/norepinephrine reuptake is combined with trazodone's Serotonin 2A Receptor Blockade--thus maximizing your chance at relief from depression.
