Sleeping aids

Hi,

Whats a good sleeping aid to take at night ? I've been taking Ativan 1mg for about 3 months and I don't want to keep taking it . I don't want to go down the Benedryl/ Nytol road either, that stuff does weird things to me. Is there something non addictive and effective that i could ask my doctor about ?

Any ideas
