Somewhere around 45 or 60 mg Remeron depending on the person, Remeron raises norepinephrine levels high enough to counteract the anti-histamine dose it causes at 7.5,15 & 30 mg.
Also, for some reason Remeron has a much longer elimination half life in women than men and also causes weight gain so women probably shouldn't take it.
