Well, it sounds like you need the ephedrine for your asthma, but that's good you've been able to cut back. I know about low energy/motivation. I just recently tried to quit coffee (migraines and anxiety) but, as I am starting on Trileptal, this is easier said than done (waking up SOOO sleepy). I made it about three days and the depression/anergia were so severe I caved in. I think it is about moderation and finding an effective dose that is low enough not to cause anxiety.
