Gracie - I should have mentioned that Serzone does inhibit the metabolism of Xanax, so you require less Xanax for the same effect. Everyone has different natural levels of the enzyme (CYP-3A3/4) that metabolizes both drugs and, due to these individualized levels, the ability of Serzone to slow the activity of this enzyme will differ from person to person. Therefore, it is difficult to say how much more of a Xanax effect you will get. So, as Cindylou and I have said, just take it easy with the dosing. - Cam
