BTW: I take the same dose of Trileptal as you are on (300 mg/day), and I gather that this is a pretty low dose.
(I'm taking it to prevent possible seizures, and since I only had a couple of the episodes in a year, my doctor
figured I probably could get by on a low dose.)

////Hi Elizabeth:)

I had wanted to post a message about some things I've heard regarding particular anticonvulsants. My son's appt. with Dr. K.I. A. (Know-It-All) is this coming Thursday and as he's very unhappy with side effects of Dilantin, he wants to ask about others. From input I've gleaned from others, I've learned that Trileptal is a "cousin" drug to Tegretol and doesn't have as many side effects; Lamictal can be an "energizer" for some;' and Keppra almost gives one a feeling of being "high" or having a slight "buzz." Your thoughts?

Anyone?
