Collette, I had typed out a longish response to your thread here but it didn't get posted. Sorry.
My basic message is that NO, I do NOT think Zyprexa is causing your feelings of jitteryness and caffeination. I had those feelings as I titrated up on EffexorXR, and could only tolerate 75 mg/day (as opposed to the "average" dose of 150 mg/day).
ANd now that I'm tapering off the EffexorXR, my first day on 37.5 mg the jitteryness and feeling of caffeination returned (Thankfully it was only that one day).
So, I would guess that if you have been decreasing your other sleep meds, esp. benzos which can be addictive, you may be getting rebound jitters from doing that. Zyprexa is for CALMING racing thoughts, enducing drowsiness and sleep, and I've never heard or read of it causing jitteryness, even as a side effect. Anything is possible, but I tend to doubt Zyprexa = speed! This is only my humble opinion, though it's based on weeks of "experience" with Zyprexa. The side effects I got were that it did knock me out the first time I took it and I had dry mouth from it for a few days, but that was it. No jitters whatsoever.
Now I'm finding a slight hangover effect in the mornings because I'm having to get up earlier. I may need to switch from Lite coffee to regular!
