It takes away the daytime sleepiness and it is not long lasting to were you have to worry about insomnia. You feel sharp and focused, which is a good thing. Further, it doesn't seem to make you jumpy either.

Hi Again, The name of the book is Healing ADD by Daniel Amen M.D. It should be available at Tower Books or Barnes & Noble although I have these stores here in the San Francisco bay area but I don't know if those sort of stores are in your area where ever that is. I am on my fourth day and now up to 150mg this morning. I haven't had any problems as you described when I roll my eyes nor have I had any twitching before I go to sleep. I have been staying up a little later than usual but once I turn out the light I don't have much trouble falling asleep and I sleep well. Felt really foggy yesterday and today I seem to be coming out of it. The thing I notice most is the absence of anxiety or at least a great reduction. I really don't think its a placebo effect, the drug really is working. The nausia seems to have gone.I have to phone my M.D. this morning to check in and I think he is going to up my dose. Hope your brother is over his problems. In regard to people like us putting others before ourselves,I agree with you 100%. My Great Aunt used to say "No Good Deed Ever Goes Unpunished" I consider this a very unpleasant saying but it does have a ring of truth to it. So I guess people like us have to strike a happy medium, I am getting a little better at those sort of things, finding a "Happy Medium". Very nice talking to you also, Thank You, Alec
