After several weeks, even normal people who take it can experience increased energy, improved memory, creative ideas, and they become more talkative, more outgoing, more involved, and socially confident. Your experience so far indicates to me that the serotonin angle is the wrong way to go for you. Adrafinil works in a very unique way on norepinephrine, with indirect effects on dopamine.
Though I've never been diagnosed with social phobia, I have been all my life the quiet shy guy in the corner. Not any more. Now I am completely comfortable in a crowd. At my job I have to approach store managers and big shots. When I do, I am completely relaxed, confident, assertive, and successful. After much experimenting, I have been able to pinpoint Adrafinil as the drug in my cocktail that accounts for this improvement in my behavior.
