I was on Moclobemide for a number of months (6) but had to abandon it when I started hyperventilating. I am still hyperventilating so it is possible that Moclobemide did not have anything to do with that symptom. My experience with it was that I felt it's effects within a few days--it is activating. It's a great med, if it works for you. Good luck
