Did your doctor say you could take 600 mg/day? After 450 mg, the Wellbutrin dose-response curve flattens and no more gains can be made at even higher doses.
Plus: "This antidepressant has a narrow therapeutic index in terms of the dose needed for antidepressant efficacy versus the dose that causes seizures.57 The minimum recommended dose for antidepressant response is 300 mg/day and a number of patients will need the maximum recommended dose of 450 mg/day. At doses of 450 mg/day or less, the seizure risk is 0.4%. Increasing the dose to 600 mg/day causes a five-fold increase in the seizure risk..."
