Yes, alcohol will definitely interfere with the Prozac.
Believe me, I just learned this yesterday from my
doctor.
I have ADD and apparently anxiety, as well. I went
to a new doctor yesterday because I just could not
relax without having a drink (or a few).
He explained how the alcohol severely interferes with
the Prozac and gave me an ultimatum to either not
drink for the next week (so my system is clear before he
gives me any new medication). If I do drink, he will
make me take antabuse. That is how serious the interaction
with the Prozac is with alcohol.
Even 2 or 3 per day. That is what I drink and the above
is what he told me.
Maybe you need an additional medication to to relieve
your restlessness.

I know that this is ridiculous, I know that I pledged to stop drinking on PSB, but I haven't. I think I'm straight-up an alcohol-dependent person...wondering if subconsciously maybe I don't really want to get better because I continue to drink...?
