A great analogy for recommended dosing of meds is eating @ a buffet. No matter what your size (large or small), how much you eat is going to vary by individual. A small person could have a huge appetite or a small appetite - same goes for larger individuals. Apply that to meds, and basically, you won't know what the appropriate does is until you work it out slowly with your pdoc.
