Efexor XR to Paxil cold turkey? anybody?

Hi,
anybody out there ever switched from FXR to Paxil?
Have been taking FXR for nearly 7 weeks now and just feel in my heart and mind that maybe this is not for me. The depression has lifted slightly but it's lingering ominously. I just know. I am still shying away from almost everything, which is not 'normal', even for me!
Paxil has worked for me before, and was first choice this time round. It failed miserably, merely exacerbating the anxiety. However, if the FXR has made some sort of breakthrough, maybe I could try an immediate switch?
Anybody any experience of this?
Any comments much appreciated
