wtm,
I am currently 6 1/2 weeks in (the last 2 1/2 on 150mg).
Some kind people on this board have offered me advice. One school of thought advise digging in there for the 6/8 weeks (with an increased dosage perhaps?) and others will say ,there are plenty of other ADs out there to try and you should be able to tell within the first week which ones might assist you.I have not got a clue, who is correct and would guess that it depends on the person, but stand to be corrected.
hopefully, some of the more insightful folk on here will offer some better advice.
I've not noticed too much by way of assistance as yet, although the depression has been blunted/numbed to some extent, which is surely a result of sorts, but I'm not sure whether I can live with the detached feeling and the only two emotions I can muster at present; ('blunted/numbed' depression and anxiety)the odd headache, shivers and all round clumbsiness, but there is a virus doing the rounds where i live, so., maybe that's to blame..?
What is making the efexor difficult for you and what is your diagnosis?
Hope things get better and am genuinely sorry if i've confused you.
For the record, I'm sticking with it for a few more days, having come this far.
Regards
Paul
