I was very fatigued( Sleeping 18-20hrs a day )this is a sign of my major depression! I was up to 225mg of effexor xr and it did not matter what time of day I took it all I wanted to do was "SLEEP" After about 6 months I reduced my dose to 75mg and now I have to take imovane to help me sleep at night and then I only sleep for 4-5hrs.Iknow how you feel it is horrible when all you want to do is sleep, I really don't know what to suggest as the higher dose did not help me (it did help to lift my depression some though)

been on Effexor for seven weeks now and have worked up to 75mg. and am very sleepy during the day even though I am taking effexorXR around 4PM in the afternoon. Does this drowsiness eventually go away or does it go away at a higher dose? Any suggestions?
